PRINICIPAL SOLICITOR & DIRECTOR

Danielle Whitall

Danielle graduated from the University of Newcastle in 2015 and has since focused her legal career in the area of Wills and Estates.

She has experience with major law firms in the Hunter region. Initially working alongside and being mentored by renowned Wills and Estates specialist, Andrew Sheeley then working closely with an acclaimed Barrister, deepening her appreciation for the empathy and dedication needed in this field.

Danielle then went on to work at Braye Cragg Solicitors - being one Newcastle’s oldest and most prestigious law firm - working exclusively in their estates department servicing clients from the Newcastle, Hunter and surrounds in estate planning, administration and disputes. During her time at Braye Cragg Danielle obtained a Masters in Applied Law Majoring in Wills and Estates at the College of Law and in her final years of Braye Cragg became the head of the Wills and Estates Department.

Approachable and determined, Danielle is committed to guiding clients through the complexities of estate matters with compassion and professionalism. She completed a Master of Laws, majoring in Wills and Estates, in February 2024 and continues to build her expertise in this area.

Danielle considers it a privilege to handle clients’ estates with care and is dedicated to supporting individuals and families through all aspects of estate planning, administration, and litigation.

Andrew Sheeley

Andrew Sheeley specialises exclusively in wills, estates, and succession law.

Andrew was born and bred in the Newcastle region and has 28 years of working in law firms. He graduated from Newcastle University in 2003 and similarly to Danielle went into straight into working for one of Newcastle’s oldest and most prestigious law firms. After a short time of working as a lawyer, Andrew established himself as the head of the estate planning department of one of the oldest and most renowned law firms in Newcastle, managing a team of lawyers for 9 years before moving to another highly reputable Newcastle firm to manage their estate litigation department for another 5 years.

In 2011, Andrew established his own law firm, Andrew Sheeley & Associates, which is a renowned boutique estate planning and litigation firm servicing clients in the Newcastle and the Hunter region. Whilst Andrew now only services existing clients he acts as a consultant to major firms state-wide and now for Danielle Whitall & Associates.

Andrew is committed to being straightforward and helpful.

Whilst Andrew has worked in some notable and publicly recorded estate dispute cases, he chooses not to cite cases of past clients as he values their confidentiality, comfort and privacy. This view is also held by Principal Solicitor, Danielle Whitall.
